The Christian Journey

It All Begins When We Come As We Are to Christ...

The invitation from God all throughout scripture is clear.  Come to Him as he invites to restore us to life as it was intended to be from the beginning.  It is a life full of abundance and freedom, and a life that ultimately leads to spiritual health and wholeness in this life and the life to come.  Have you responded to God's invitation?  Harvest Chapel invites you to receive God's ultimate gift of acceptance, come to Him just as you are in repentance, surrender and obedience, and start the journey of a lifetime.

Next, We Are to Grow Into His Likeness...

Once we start our journey, we will encounter, learn, transform, and grow as we walk.  This growth is a natural progression of the obedient, surrendered life in Christ.  We grow closer to Him as we experience all the "means" through which we receive His grace (corporate worship, communion, Bible reading, prayer, etc.).  We grow deeper as we study the Bible.  We grow more faithfully strong as we walk in obedience to His voice.  We grow in love for others as we experience His love and grace.

Next, We Serve out of Love for the One Who Loves Us Most...

In His great love, God gives spiritual gifts to each and every follower of Christ.  These gifts are designed to be used in service to Christ through His church... His Kingdom.  Out of our greeat love for God, we willing offer our lives in service to Him by ministering to others as He has called us and gifted us.  Which leads us to the most incredible part of all...

As We Serve Christ, Others will be Drawn to "Come As They Are"...

Seeing others drawn to Jesus is a thrill and one more natural progression of a surrendered, repentant, obedient life lived in service to Jesus.  God's love is truly attractive!  As others see it lived out in you, and as you tell them your own story of coming to Him, growing in Him, and serving Him, others will follow and join you on the journey.
