 Harest Chapel

When are the services at Harvest Chapel?

Every Sunday our services are at three different times.
8:45AM, 10:00AM and 11:10AM.  Rarely for special occassions, these times will change.  If so, they are clearly posted here on the site and in all our printed information at the church.

 The People of Harvest

What kind of people attend Harvest Chapel?

The people of Harvest Chapel are people just like you ... people who are looking for hope, wholeness and joy in a world that can take that from us at times.  At Harvest Chapel there is no "us" or "them"... just "we."  You'll find a very welcoming atmosphere from the moment you walk in.  That's how we share the love that God has shown to each of us.  We are a diverse group of folks from different economic, racial and social backgrounds, because in Christ, those man-made boundaries are erased.  You see, we already have so much in common... come on in and check things out.

How do people dress for the services?

At Harvest Chapel, please feel free to come as you are.  Most people dress fairly casual on Sundays, while others are comfortable in something more formal.  That's the great part about God: He already knows what's inside each of us and yet want's to be in relationship with us.  He's most delighted with open hearts, not shiny appearances.
 Worship Service at Harvest Chapel

What are the services like?

Each service lasts just one hour and consists of a time of singing, prayer, giving and a message from one of our Pastors.  The music is presented by our Worship Band (keyboards, drums, bass, guitars, etc.) and a team of vocalists.  The prayer portion of the service lets each of us bring our needs before God and pray for others who have come to do the same.  We give back to God because He has given so much to us.  Finally, we hear the spoken Word to grow in our knowledge of God so we can be in a deeper relationship with Him.

What are the Sunday Messages Like?

The messages from our Pastors are presented in a series format all based on a topic that brings relevant meaning from the ancient words of the Bible into our lives today.  Scripture verses are read from translations of the Bible that are easily understood, and Biblical principles are presented in ways that allow us to apply them to real life situations.  If you would like... click here to listen to some of the messages right here on line.

 Harvest Cafe

Giving was mentioned ... what is the expectation when it comes to giving?

As our guest, we ask you to just let the offering basket pass you by.  We know we can never outgive God, so guests are encouraged to not participate in the offering, but focus on what God has for them.
 Children in Christian Educaiton Class

What kinds of opportunities exist for children?

Children are one of God's greatest gifts.  There is a great Sunday School program available for children from Mid September through Late June.  In the summer, a 10-13 week special summer program is offered as well.  Throughout the year, children have occasional opportunities to participate in worship in various ways.  We also care for babies in our infant nursery and have programs for toddlers as well.

 Teen Girls at Youth Group

What About Teens?

Junior and Senior High Teens have both Sunday morning and evening Youth Group classes and gatherings from mid-September through late June.  The programming is "off the hook!"  Our teens have a great time while engaging in "Jesus talk."  All of this takes place in an insult-free enviornment where the teens encourage one another.

What is available for those with disabilities?

Harvest Chapel's facility is an open, warm and welcoming space that is fully handicapped-accessible for worship services.  We are thrilled to welcome into worship each week, people with a variety of disabilities.  At the 11:10 services each Sunday, signing is offered for the hearing impaired as well.

So... please take a look around the web site, but most importantly, join us for worship any Sunday.  It would be our pleasure to meet you.
